Numéro de juillet 1962 de l’édition américaine du Harper’s Bazaar avec une couverture du magazine représentant une robe du soir de Balenciaga portée avec une veste de cuir photographiée par Tom Kublin.
Ce numéro célèbre notamment les 25 ans de créations de Balenciaga. On trouve également dans ce numéro deux illustrations de produits cosmétiques par Andy Warhol.
La couverture est ainsi décrite : “Fashion drama from the master hand of Balenciaga – a glistening patent leather jacket elaborately embellished at the edge by black passementerie braid beaded with jets. Beneath the pure straight lines of the jacket, the clean whiteness of a piqué evening dress swathed high at the waist by an emerald green satin ribbon. The last perfect touch: Balenciaga’s sensuous perfume, le Dix. Coiffure by Christian for Balenciaga”.
